Good Friday occurs two days before Easter Sunday. It is the day when we commemorate Christ's crucifixion. We call it Good Friday because it is the day that Jesus took the punishment for our sins (past, present, future). Though Jesus died a brutal death, it was in line with God’s purpose which God had earlier revealed through His prophets.
